Clutch problem on my new to me Power King 1614. I have to push the pedal as far as it will go and then it grinds when I put it in gear. When I let out on the pedal it only moves a little before it starts moving. How can I correct this problem, is there an adjustment, I see two plastic plugs one on each side of the bell housing. Thanks

Hi Jerry there are no adjustments that can be made what happens is the clutch wears and the clutch flywheel may have moved forward toward the engine to repair it requires removing the engine and checking the clutch an if it all looks good the getting the flywheel back in the proper position
Here is the name and address of a fellow that has a thumb drive with over 34000 pages of information on EPCO (Power King) tractor send him $15.00 check or money order and he'll get a thumb drive out to you

Is it possible the clutch linkage is bent somewhere or otherwise not disengaging the clutch enough?

Sorry for taking so long. I was afraid that would be your answer, it?s not bad enough yet so I think I will wait a little longer
Thanks for the info

Hi Jerry I forgot to say on one of my tractors I heated the pedal rod with a oxy torch and bent it up to it had more travel before contacting the floor board I just asked you about this in your other post so disregard that
