Power King Lift

Purchased a PK 1614 a few weeks ago I think it is a 1958. The hydraulic three point lift doesn?t have much up and down travel. The lift arms will not go parallel or below they may move six inches at the ends This is my first PK and I am wondering if this is normal or do I have a problem The lift cylinder is underneath the left side. Thanks

Hi can you post some pictures of the tractor and 3 pt, if the lift cylinder is mounted under the differential that would make it a 1980 or newer and the 3 pt lifts more than 6 inches I'll measure mine this afternoon if I get a chance I'm thinking 12 to 14" there should be leveling links on both side to adjust the lift arms

Problem Solved A rod connecting on the right side under the foot rest seems to be frozen. There is a second connecting off that rod. I don?t know which is causing the problem but I disconnected them and the lift is working fine I double checked and it is a 1981 S#57360. I guess these rods would go to a mower deck which I don?t have so I just removed them. I think I am going to enjoy playing with this PK. Thanks for the info
