Cub 1811 PTO clutch toasted

Got Cub 1811, the PTO electric winding is fried. Tried looking on internet, got lots of useless hits. One that looked promising could not match their part to the model info, wanted the oem part number. Sooo, anybody here can 1) recommend a brand or source for the clutch assy complete, or 2) anyone know the part number. Engine is 18 hp, clutch mounts with 4ea. 7/16-in bolts and has one wire electric connection. No id on the old one.

You can look up the part number in the parts lists at Cubcadetparts.com or Partstree.com either one. And there are other sites as well.

Part number 717-3044 which is replaced by 917-3044. Looks like it is still available from Cub Cadet. Plug number into Google and there is aftermarket ones too.

The best I have found to get good quality PTO without breaking the bank is: [b:c16c1034fb][color=darkblue:c16c1034fb]https://xtremeope.com/[/b:c16c1034fb][/color:c16c1034fb]

On ebay they list from $50 for used clutch to $249 for new. Lost of them priced at $229 for new units.

p/n is 917-3044, and these normally last many years. If you don't want to spend $$$ for a new one, try Paul in Taneytown, MD - 410-259-8031. Has hundreds of tractors, I always get a square deal there.
