I have an X534 with 54" deck and snow blower and I find it fits my needs almost completely. Caring for a 5 acre old farm yard with new and old plantings to steer around.
With very easy steering and a steering knob, the machine is ok, now about 500 hours on it.
However, the steering linkage got pretty loose while under warranty and the dealer grumpily refreshed something while complaining about my fluid filled rear tires being too much of a load. I need that weight to back up slopes with the front mounted snow blower and they are pain to take off and put back on exchanging lighter wheels for the summer.
Now the steering linkage is getting a little loose again, making it impossible to drive quickly in transport without weaving wildly back and forth. So another fix, just a part of the situation that otherwise serves the purpose?
I wonder what other users have found with their 4ws mowers. They sure are handy until you see the drive wheels towing inward while pulling a small load! And the wobble.
