Help with a Page Garden Tractor

I recently became the owner of a 1950s model Gage Garden Tractor. It's a front engine and outwardly seems to be in pretty good shape. So far I have very little info on. Can anyone point me toward manuals or anything that might help me restore it and get it running.
Thanks

Well, if it came to you in that good a shape, it probably was restored once already. Probably all you need to do is to get the engine
running. And it looks like a Briggs and Stratton carburetor hiding under that hood. If its a cast iron B & S, the tag probably is (or was,
if it is missing) on the shield around the cylinder.

So I'm back to working on my tractor. It does have a Briggs and Stratton engine. Engine Model number is 23AFB. It seems to have an electric starter but I'm not sure if what looks to me like a generator/alternator is supposed to be a starter ( see picture). So far I know I can turn the engine over by hand. But I'm not getting and spark. Any suggetions?

that is a delco starter / generator. Clean up your points- they probably have a slight coating of corrosion on them preventing them from making contact to trigger
your coil.

As posted check the points point on that engine are under a rectangular cover just to the left of the carb if they are clean and making good contact then its most likely the coil that engine will have a magnematic ignition system replacement coil PN 290880

Thanks for the feedback. Began cleaning contacts. I removed the top of the small box like part on top of the generator/starter. Whats inside looks like a pair of relays or points and they are completely corroded probably will need to be replaced. How do I find new ones?

That is the generator voltage regulator its a Delco Remy part they are available online and at auto parts store it is needed to make the generator operate properly but have nothing to do with the engines ignition sytem the engines points are mounted on the engine block

cant seem to get my picture to upload. I am trying to remove what i call the pulley on the front of the driveshaft where you could try to start the tractor with a rope.

If I get a chance I'll look at the one on my B&S Model 23 on the mosel 24xxx its just the 2 5/16' bolts that hold it on
