Yesterday I noticed that when you slide the throttle to the choke position, the butterfly did not close tight enough to be of any real value. If you push it up quickly and hard it will close enough to get it started. I guess I had forgotten about that, since I had not used it in over two years.
With it running I ran some carb cleaner thru it and shut it off when it started to smoke. I used it to cut grass for 25 minutes. I think it will work out well for my son to use at his mother's house.
