JD 125 lawn tractor hydro oil replacement

A DEERE "125" used aTuff Torq "T40" transaxle.

If you GOOGLE "Tuff Torq T40" you will find all sorts of info and videos.

Tuff Torq (of course) recommends their own oil, but there are lots of other opinions/options.

Quote from "kencombs" on this site " They come with a 10w30 oil from the factory. Most of the 'experts' will recommend a 5w50 synthetic engine oil as a replacement."

Looks like 2.2 liters is fully drained (unlikely). Have you removed the unit from the tractor and left it downside up for a while to drain?

Info from Tuff Torq:

I believe 50 weight synthetic is recommended. I've seen people suggest 5w-50, 20w-50, 15w-50, etc... I'm sure any of them are fine.
