Just got these, anyone have a manual for them? I've been looking but so far no luck.

Oh! a Huffy by another name!

I have a Huffy like the rusty/red one. But mine was light greenish blue with white hood,fenders and wheels. The blue one has a hood like
I think some with a hood like that were sold by Montgomery Ward. At least one shows up at shows around here labeled a Montgomery Ward.

Whoever built them would label them for whatever store sold them.


It looks like your red one has the 8 hp engine, so larger than mine with 4 hp. Mine is a one speed forward/reverse. I bet yours has the 3
speed in it too. And maybe a differential. It helps a lot in the turns. My 4 hp. came with a solid rear axle. So, Give me 40 acres and
I'll turn this thing around.

I found an axle from a little larger Huffy and put it on when I restored the mower.

The tag on mine was riveted to the chain guard. Lots of them had the chain guard removed and never reinstalled. (lots of chain problems.)

Thanks for that info, i'll look up those and see what i find out. Yeah both have 3 forward 1 reverse gears and chain drive to axles the rusty red still says PennCraft on both sides of the hood but the blue one someone started to restore and has no stickers. I got 2 crates of parts with it, figure i can pull the red one apart and see how to put the blue one together lol
