case 222 still not starting

So I still can't get my case 222 to start i pulled the points and condenser off my 444 and put it on the 222 I have spark but can't get it to start I have compression I checked that this morning I'm running out of ideas thanks for the help!

That could be a sign of the points being gapped so "tight" they never open, or a short to ground somewhere on the breaker points side of the coil. (Wiring, breaker points, condenser, or something in the "points box" area that's shorting the insulated connection terminal at the breaker points to ground.)

That would give ONE spark when the ignition is switched "off", which, in your case "fired" the gas vapors in the cylinder with the engine stopped at a point where the intake valve was "open".

That sounds like the intake valve not sealing well. Or valve train out of adjustment. It doesn't matter if you have compression or not, with a leaking valve it will still make 'some' compression and still not run.

Have you checked the timing with a timing light?

Should have a hole in the fan/flywheel shroud for testing it.

Your problem sounds like either a timing issue or an open ground.
Unplug the ground from the coil and see if it runs. If it does check all of the wiring and the key switch.
