96 John Deere LX178 value

An on line auction has two JD garden tractors listed for sale. Both machines were used last summer. This one has a damaged hood, with duct tape from front to back. Last time I looked, I think the price was at $325. I was thinking of buying it for someone else. What would the machine be worth, in good condition?

Here in NC, About $325. More, if you want it bad enough.

If someone made a replacement hood for it, they could sell them. Deere makes a good mower, but they have always had hoods that lacked durability.

Check with deere dealer SIL needed a hood for one, and the price wasn't totally out of line.

A 325 with a broken hood run around 300.00,with a new hood 400.00 Decent, mowers it is the junk hoods has brought the prices down to nothing.
