Hey all. My Cub Cadet 126 shows a discharge when running. Has new battery, so it's either genny or regulator. I disconnected the belt from generator, turned the key and let go, and the starter was still running full speed. I tapped on the regulator, and it stopped. I also tried testing the generator portion by putting a lead on the battery ad tapping the armature. It would keep running full speed. I then tapped the lead to the field terminal on generator, and it would stop. Is the regulator bad, cuz that's what I think!
