Hey all. Just got my hands on my father in laws 126. Been sitting a few years I side, but it cranks. Was left sitting with brake locked all that time, and the pedal and brakes do not release when I took the lock off. The clutch pedal moves, but it stays down, like it has no spring. I know nothing about these tractors, and would appreciate some insight!

Some times pushing them backwards they will break loose. The clutch could have a broken spring from fatigue. Then you look into other problems.

Check all your linkages. They may need some lubrication (ie: PB Blaster, etc) to free up movement.

The 126 should have external brakes and the pads may be stuck to the disc. Gentle separation and cleaning up the pads, disk, and cam may be in order.
