I have a cub cadet model 70, probably mid 60's. Complete but has not been used in years. Always stored inside. If I decide to sell it, what might
be a good asking price? I know different areas may be different and also how bad somebody wants it. Thanks, Tommy
 

Alot depends on condition and what attachments are going to be included in the sale. Just a tractor alone could be as low as $100.... but cleaned up [b:49bc9e0fb9][i:49bc9e0fb9]Ready to Run[/i:49bc9e0fb9][/b:49bc9e0fb9] with attachments could be $1000 or more.
 
A 70 was built from 1963 to 1965. I've got our old 70 out in the shop, it wore out 3-4 K-161-181 engines mowing two farm yards. Dad had bought a late '63 Cub Cadet original, when it broke the 2nd toothed timing belt that drove the two mower blades and kept them from hitting it got traded for the 70. Quite to rugged little tractor! It's mowed the most and when I refurbished it 5 yrs ago it's in the best shape of my 3 CC tractors.

Condition and attachments are everything when putting a value on a Cub Cadet. Condition of paint, tires, engine, seat, all make a difference.
 
The only equipment with it is a mower. There may not be any demand for it for restoring. I need to clean out some stuff around here but don't
know where to start. I have several pieces that were used on an H or M back in the day. I probably will never use them again. Thans
 
[b:8467718061]IF[/b:8467718061]... it looks nice a clean, starts, runs, drives, and cuts grass, tires are reasonable, blades are sharp, clean oil, lubricated and a nice seat.... it could be worth $800

If the buyer has to push it onto a trailer, take it home and do all the maintainence, repair flat tires...etc,etc... it might only be $50

I sell 20+ lawn and garden tractors every year but its too hard to estimate with such little info and no pics.
