Yup..they are a tank! If you want tons of information...go on "Gravely Tractor Club of America" web site. On the left side somewhere is a listing for manuals and literature. Anything that was ever printed in history is there for a free download. Go dig around and then come back.
 
I have one, bought it new in 1983. Have many attachments also.
