David Bradley walk behind.

We just drug home the remains of a David Bradley walk behind.
The wheels are toast and right now I can't afford wheels and
this project is quite a ways down on the list.
Someone said they thought there was an auto rim that three of
the lug holes lined up with the D/B hubs.
Does anybody know about this.
I just need to be able to move it around.
Thanks for any help.

Steve, where are you located? I am in north eastern Pa. Probably could help you with a couple of wheels if you were close.

I have one here in Missouri I would sell. Has most every thing one could get with one but is missing the hood.

(quoted from post at 17:08:59 09/10/18) If it's a 6x12 tire, most any garden tractor wheel will substitute.

IIRC, original tires were 6:00 16.

Rims were "odd" and had three holes.

As the OP said, likely some old automotive rim with 6 holes will fit, with 3 holes unused, the one my Uncle bought new had six-hole rims. I sold it some years ago, or I'd go and take some measurements for you.

Auto salvage yards typically have patterns/jigs/gauges to easily identify bolt circle/bolt pattern.

If you have one in your area that's been around for a while and hasn't scrapped all the older stuff, the 'ol gray-haired guy behind the counter just might be able to fix you up.

Photo below is of 4 for sale (individually) on ebay, but NOT cheap.

If the "centers" are good, another alternative would be to cut 'em off the rims and weld on a new (or good used) rim.

If you are lucky enough to have a welding or machine shop in the area that deals with ag stuff, likely they do it all the time.

I would have said that you could use 5-hole automotive rims, not 6, since the 3-hole pattern isn't
evenly spaced. Some of these tractors also had 15" wheels - my Super 5.6 has 6.70-15 tires but an
older Super Power I used to have had the 6.00-16 size you mentioned.

Standard 5 hole 5-1/2" pattern wheels will fit......Most Ford cars prior to '49 and most Ford 1/2 ton PUs up until recently and Dodge 1/2 Ton PUs from the 90s up used this pattern.

The critical thing to check is the center hole size....as I recall it is fairly large.
The use of this style wheel on PUs should make your search fairly easy......but......you'll end up with 15" wheels rather than 16".
