Yes it is home made, by someone named Frank something or other. I was told it has a Model A rear end, Ford transmission, cast iron Briggs & Straton motor. It was built by a machinist in 1952. His son now owns it. The 2 levers are for hand operated brakes. The pvc pipes are for footrests. I didn't hear it run, but was told it runs very well.

Quite interesting.
I wonder what the first gearbox came out of?
The hood ornament appears to be from a Cub Cadet Original.
can't even figure out what the first gear box is for. High - Low?

That's a Borg-Warner 3-speed tranny out of a Crosley......
good choice....it will handle more torque than that Briggs can produce and the truck tranny will stand all the torque fed into it even with the little tranny in low gear.
A tremendous selection of speeds including one helluva road gear with both trannys in high.

I am thinking it is a Warner Gear T92 Crosley/Power King tractor 3-speed feeding a four speed.

LOL, I was searching crosley trannys while you posted, honest!

Pretty good chance the Warner T92 came from a Crosley as itis machined for a speedo drive the Power T92's weren't
