John Deere X340 drive belt

I have X340 that just threw the original belt at 231 hours. I bought one at Napa and it lasted about 10 minutes. Any ideas? Is the OEM better? Or do you think something else is the issue?

It depends.
Remove all the belts and spin all the pulleys on the deck. Any that rattle or rumble have dry bearings. Dry bearings tend to heat up both
from being dry and from added resistance to turning. And heat can damage a belt and cause it to prematurely fail. Check your belt alignment
does the belt run fairly straight between pulleys? I know they have to angle a bit, but no really sharp angles. These are some of the things
to check.
