Can anyone ID this little cultivator?

This has been laying in my iron pile for years. Had some time to fix it up today. The wheels and sweeps are not original of course and I do not know if it was made for a sleeve hitch but it should work fine. The remaining paint spots look orange to me. Just wondering if there is some history known of these little cults. Thanks, Rod.

We had one exactly like it, used it behind a Simplicity 2 wheel walk behind, also worked on our Bolens Power Ho walk behind. Don't know the history of it because I was way too young when it was in use.

Simplicity. also Wards, other names, etc. I think all were made by Simplicity. Intended for their 2 wheel tractor. Of course, the wheels and shanks are different on yours, probably replacements. I have one with my 2 wheel Simplicity (3 hp.) and most of the parts for another that I got in some junk once.

Mine complete one has a handle so that it can be steered to follow the row behind the 2 wheeler. (But I guess the operator has to use his third hand, the time I tried it, it took both hands on the tractor handles.)

Guessing by the paint, you have yours on a Case garden tractor.

So glad you rescued this little girl. Please paint her in orange and make her shine. Good job.

Mine did not have the crank for adjustment but I got it with a Wards tractor that I think my Uncle bought new.
