Can some one tell me the length of the pick up hose in the 318 gas tank? The hose is completely gone, the pick up screen is there but the hose is gone.
 
Long enough so that the pick-up screen is at the lowest section of the tank.

I replaced the hose in a newer generic JD and the hose went 3/4 across the tank from where it entered the tank.
