Anyone know the name for the 3 piece coupling that goes between the engine and hyd pump on a Cub Cadet log splitter? It has a rubber dampener in the middle.Thanks,Jim

Browning also made them, but used a slightly
different rubber center "Spider" that doesn't
interchange with "Lovejoy"
Bailey's has generic Chinese clones of "Lovejoy"
that work ok for my splitter, (www.baileynet.com)
Surplus Center has them, as does Baum Hydraulics,
or any "Good" farm supply store.
The brand name is usually cast or stamped into
the metal halves, and moulded into the rubber
center "Spider", as is the size. You must match
up the correct "Size".They are rated for specific
horsepower.

Coupling is called a 2pc shaft coupling or spider coupling(matching half's + rubber spider between,half's are avail seperate for each mfg),popular brands are lovejoy or browning,but also made by several other mfg,same can be bought/ordered at local bearing supply dealer or online at mcmaster,grainger or ebay.
