Had to put new front tires on the Cub Cadet 1250 yest. Pulled wheels off, found a bad bearing on one side. Had no way to get another so went to neighbors junk pile found a Snapper rider, took front wheel off. Found like a nylon bushing in there. It perfectly fit my wheel and spindle. Leave it in? (will it last?) or look for CC wheel bearings? Part numbers?

TIA

btw, those front tires are a PIA...I would rather do a big tractor rear...HARD to get broke down on the backside! Had to cut one bead to get off with a die grinder.

Last I checked, CC is pretty proud of those bearings.

They can be found on-line for about $6 to $10, if you have a DEERE dealer nearby, DEERE part # is AM102605, @ about $11.

1250 and 1450 use the same wheels/bearings.
Bearing will far outlast bushings
On 1250..tractors prior to serial 632502 had 3/4
spindles and bearings. The IH part number is
741-3002
tractor serial # 632502 and above had 1 inch
spindles, Part # IH-384881-R93
The above info from an IH Cub Cadet parts book.
Google the parts iumbers and you should get lots
of hits. I got mine from "Surplus Center" by
measurung, and going by the dimensions..think I
paid about $7 for domestic, China ones were less.
Baileys, Northern, Blum Iron co/Blum Hydraulic
has them on their website, but not by IH or Cub
part number. You have to measure them and go by size: ID/OD/width

You can use these. There are available from any good Bearing Supply House. They can be had as "open" or with "sealed" (PP).

IH part number:384881-R93, for 1 inch spindles
is NAPA part number 7-04292.
