Fordson Dexta Fueling problem?

I have a fordson dexta diesel. I changed the fuel head assembly after realizing a failed attempt at fixing the assembly by previous owner. Before putting new assembly on I was running it one day and it shut off. Found out I either shut the fuel off or it somehow turned off. fast forward a few days later and it started sputtering till it died. I noticed the bleed bolt was missing threads and was siliconed and barely heli-coiled in. So I changed the whole assembly out with new filters. Now, it runs good but every time it sits overnight I have to bleed the fuel system. It runs amazing otherwise. I've tightened every line and even gone as far as adding permatex thread sealant. I don't know what else to do. Any help? :?:

EDIT: I put on a new fuel pump as well. This post was edited by anthonyar4 on 10/22/2023 at 09:08 am.

There's no copper washer on anything but the filter head assembly. So none on the injection pump bleeder, none on any part of head assembly other than the top bleeder.

Sounds like you have an air leak, possibly on the suction side, or the valves in the lift pump are not sealing properly, Did you put small copper washers back on the bleed points?
