Major V8 conversion kit...

Dear co-builders!

I would like advice (measurements), tips, etc.
Has anyone installed a Major [b:83a83458f2]Ford 302 or 351[/b:83a83458f2](W)?

Is it known who makes the plate between the gearbox and the engine (or the whole kit)?

I once bought a Fordson diesel with a New Process 5 speed attached. No adaptor.

So I reason that if you can find a Ford engine out of a truck with the New Process 5 Speed,
it bolt into the tractor bell housing.

However, the car engines may not. For example, the 351M has the crankshaft on a different
centerline. To fit a car engine may require slotting of the bolt holes, and new dowel pins.
