I've just changed the valve guides on my 1961 dexta but after starting it up it was leaking fresh oil through the exhaust,does anyone have an idea on the problem please.

How hard have you worked the tractor? Dextas will wet stack like mad if not
worked hard. I would put it into some hard work on a cultivator, plough or
something that makes her work, for a couple of days then see if she still
blows oil out of the exhaust.
Did you replace the seals on the valves? Did you check how the valves fitted
in the new guides?
