Been talking to my contacts here in England about the colour of early Model N tractors made in Ireland. The general feeling is that the grey paint used at the time came from many different suppliers and some had more of a blue tinge than others.
However, some tractors assembled from parts made in Cork, at the Manchester Ford plant in 1931/32, before Dagenham was in production, were painted light blue but there were only a very few made and none of my contacts have ever seen a blue one.
These old tractors still have a few secrets hidden away. :0)
