Drivers side steering arm tapered hole is TOO SMALL!!

I bought arm from Malpas online, England ,
When I attempted to drop the steering cylinder into the arm tapered hole I found it did not fit. The ball stud is too large for the hole or the hole is the wrong size.
I'm thinking the hole is the wrong size because the ball stud fit into the old steering arm quite nicely. I had to change the steering arm because the splines were wiped out. I was thinking I could change the size of the ball stud but then it would be too sloppy in its receiver if I put a smaller one in there. So I think I'm going back to the machine shop or I could buy a tapered reamer and just ream it out until it fits the ball stud.
Having a terrific day

Contact Malpas and tell them your problem, they are a good reputable company and will help you out. I have dealt with them in the past and always had good service.

The problems you are getting is due to the manufacturer and, now I know you are in England, I have a pretty good idea who it is. They supply to many after market parts companies and most of what they supply is total rubbish. Until people like Malpas start to send items back and complain, things will not get better.
