Fordson Power Major front end loader help

Hi Everyone,

New here, I just bought my first tractor for clearing some land, helping skid logs, overall utility, etc. It's a Fordson Power Major, she's old and she leaks but she runs OK.

I'm trying to address some of the leaks, and decided to start with some of the easier ones on the front end loader. The ID plate is old and painted over, but it looks like it says I9-I32. I took one of the cylinders off for articulating the bucket, unscrewed one end, and now I'm stuck.

The gland looks to be locked behind a metal plate that I can't see how to get past. It doesn't move with the ram, and it has a groove around the outside diameter but it feels smooth and I don't see anything like a snap ring or seal to remove. Does anyone have experience with these cylinders?
