Today I tackled my Fordson Major , slow leak down when sitting, of the 3 point hitch hydraulics .. I found the piston cup type scraper seal worn.. I replaced both the piston to cylinder sealing ring as well as the cylinder to valve bank O- ring. Hopefully that will cure the issue. I lucked out in that a local hydraulic shop had both seals in stock. I was pleased with the cost. Grand total of $6.85 ..
