Access step to climb on FMD..

I,m not as young as I once was and find climbing on the Fordson Major a wee bit difficult ,, so today I made up & bolted on an assist step . If I can post a picture I,ll post it.

Looks good. I bet that helps a lot. I,ve got to put another on the left side too. My issue installing a step is that it can,t be too low or have a too big of a pad , or a loop desiogn that a stick can get into , because tractor is wearing chains when being used in woods. I have also installed heavy stem type grab handles on each fender for a hand hold when getting up and on. .
 
I'm just recovering from a torn knee, so have not even been on mine for over a month. With my big feet it's hard enough getting on & having my feet aimed toward the front when everything on my body is working right!

Sorry to hear of your knee injury. That would be quite bothersome I,m sure.
