1954 Major Hydraulic Filter

Hey everyone,
Changing the rear end fluid on my '54 Major. I am having difficulty tracking down the filter for it. My local Napa carries the fuel and oil Filter but I cannot find the hydraulic filter. Also, am I correct in using SAE 30W oil in the rear end? And it is 9 gallons?

There is no filter in a 1954 Major other than a wire mesh screen in the bottom of the
rear axle housing and two magnets. Lay underneath and there is a plate with four bolts
around the drain plug, drop the plate, the filter will come with it and can be washed
and replaced. Warning!!! Oil runs down your arm up to your armpit when doing this job.
Been there, done that too many times to count. :0)

I think you will find the oil grade 90 same as diff oil used in cars.
