Fordson F Carburetor Conversion

Looking for details on how to set a 1922 Fordson F up for a modern carburetor (probably an early Falcon - that seems to be reference a lot on various sites). What type manifold do you need? How do you adapt the throttle? Mixture adjustment and choke?

Would also appreciate the same information for adapting a Model A Ford carburetor to a flipped (inverted) Fordson F manifold. What manifold do you need? How do you adapt throttle?

Am currently running a Kingston M-D that is giving me more problems than it's worth. Have also heard conversion to carb from vaporizer makes it easier to start (I'm getting up there in age so easier starting is a plus).

Thank you in advance for replies.

A lot going in a Fordson F .
First off ,I dont have any experience with any of the conversations you speak of . So proceed if you are confident in your abilities to adapt and convert to another carburetor. I think ,not sure but my case prior to us, ours was converted using a 234 carburetor, with A 32 Chevy carburetor, and hammer the fuel tank in to get I on and installed a TACO Governor.
I have no experience with the Kingston md . So your on your own . Since you are not going to use it I cant recommend anything .
If you do want to use the Kingston in future and need help with the Kingston carburetor process , I would call Keith Romeg at Keiths Garage In Madison ,Ohio. He has a lot of success with Kingston and prefers them he told me ( he is very helpful). Hes very hard to get a hold of running a business so be patient and have your complete list ready to go.
Good luck
As far cranking Ive started mine using a rapid as I can up crank motion ,it started in a few trys with 3/4 turn. I was exhausted but it did start. Dont rap your thumb around crank do this ,and make sure the spark advance is set in retarded spark positions,so it wont kick back.
I also put a 20 ml pre starting gas into the 280 mixer, away it goes .
So so much of what I said has to do with the conditions of a Fordson ,I say there are not one alike. Buy a tractor manual the starting process for cranking is in it ! Good luck
