Dexta 3-point lift problem

When I move the 3-point lift adjustment lever from bottom to top, on my 1960 Dexta, it will sometimes rise to full height, then drop to about half-height. Other times it will only rise to half-height. Oil is full. Position/Draft lever is in the up position (lever handle facing front of tractor). I haven't yet removed the lift from the tractor, so I don't know about the condition of the cam follower pin. Is this pin the likely cause of the problem or are there other things I should check? Thanks.

Yes sounds like the pin is worn.

Once exposed, does the pin just slide/screw out or need to be pulled/driven out? Are they available after-market or dealer only? Thanks.
Marlin

Pin should be carefully driven out taking care not to bend the linkage. Try your
Case/New Holland dealer as it is the same pin in the earlier Ford tractors and in the
later 1000'nd series.
