dexta lift adjustment

I am trying to make sure my dexta lift assembly is adjusted correctly while I have it apart. My book says to use tool T8512/a to set the position of the lift arms during the adjustment and tool T8512/g to set the clearance for the qualitrol and the position adjustments. Can someone tell me where the lift arms would be held during the adjustment and what the thickness of the 8512/g tool for the 2 clearances are.

Hi Dale, I came across your request while looking for similar info myself (for a Super Major) and have since found a very useful description of how to adjust various models of fordsons on another forum. (fordsontractorpages.nl).

This forum has a Wiki, which contains a document detailing how to adjust the various models. If you search the forum for "wiki" you will find the username and password to access the wiki documents... the document you are looking for is written by Brian and titled "DextaAndSuperMajorHydraulicSetting". You will need to work out which bits of the text are relevant to your tractor...
