Fordson Major oil levels

Hello, can anyone offer some advice please? A friend has a 1957 Fordson Major. He is uncertain about how to check the oil level in the transmission/ hydraulic system. Are they seperate systems or all in one? There is a large plug above the top link point but we believe that this is a filler hole only. Is this correct? There is a dipstick forward of the clutch pedal. Would this be for the transmission and hydraulics? There is also a large plug screwed into a protruding housing on the side of the transmission casing. Would this be a filler point or a level indicator?
Thanks in advance.

Can be corrected here, I will say the dip stick you refer to is the gauge for the rear end transmission and hydraulics. The other hex headed plug is for the gear transmission. The other hex headed plug you refer to behind the seat is for filling the rear end.

On the gearbox fill plug near the clutch pedal pivots you will find the oil level stamped into the casting. As said, rear axle is on the dipstick near the gear levers and filler is behind the seat.
