Inside the motor theres a oil tube that takes oil from the magneto area and sends it to the front bearing. My question is what holds the tube in place.

Nothing just friction.
There are two types, one long and one short . I believe the 1920 is the long one. I had the wrong one in mine I needed long one to run oil to the camshaft ,timing gears . I don?t know about the short one.
Be sure you know which engine you have. They swapped engines on the Fordson F a lot . I had the wrong tube in my engine ,how I don?t know but I have a 1920 engine in the 1924
I hope this helps , you need to ask a lot of questions ,about these tractors from any experts you can find is my advice , And these individuals are very hard to find.
