what weight oil?

Oscars web page is great for most things Dexta but doesn't mention grades of oil for gearboxes,axles and engine. Am I right in using top quality car diesel sump oil? Can i use standard car gearbox oil in the 'box?

There should be copies of the Ford oil specs on Oscars site for all the tractors.

The oil you need all through the tractor is HD30 or a multigrade 15/40W. The systems were designed for a fairly low grade of oil as that is what was availabl at the time. Synthetic oils will cause seal problems in these engines, gearboxes and rear axles.
