Just found Fordson tractor

Hello all; I purchased a little over 100 acres 4 years ago and it has an old home stead I was aware of, however I never investigated a densely overgrown area further to the south of the homestead. To my surprise I found a very old Fordson tractor and an old truck. I started clearing yesterday 4-5-2020 but did not have anyone to help and I need to clear a lot before I can pull it out. Pretty cool finds. And some pretty cool artifacts from the 1800 s And early 1900 s.

The tractor looks to be in good shape compared to the truck. I have a lot more clearing to do in the coming weeks and will share more. I will be pulling it out and will get model details, I could not get in there to look for tags but I will soon.

That's a Fordson Model F. Last built in 1928. Looks like someone took the
radiator, probably for scrap copper. They can still be found. Do you have
the serial number on the block, just above the first exhaust manifold port?
This one could have been there for 75 years. Not much demand for Fordsons
after the 9N and the IHC H or W4 came out in 1939. They were kind of game
changers.

By the way, what was the truck?
 
Nice find , I?m concerned about the radiator missing and the open intake that being said .
The year (serial number) is stamped into the block by the front side of the intake exhaust if you want to investigate that .
Harder and harder to find them . Good luck with it .
 
. I know, not sure of the full condition until I can pull it out. I did cover it, though I don t think it will make to much of a difference since it s been exposed for likely 75 years. Will make a nice display; one gentleman was interested in just the rear tires or tracks whatever you call those. Don t think I want to parts it out. Kind of cool just the way it is.
