A Happy Christmas and a Peaceful, Fordson-Filled New Year.

From Brian and Ann in cold, wet, soggy Norfolk, England.

Just taken a few bits of broken cardboard and packages down to
my field to burn using Henrietta and a transport box. Just drove
her onto the land and it took ten minutes to get back onto the
hard with the wheels sinking in over the tyres. No ploughing for
me for a couple of months. :0(

Hi Brian and Ann and a Merry Christmas from Michael and Geraldine just 90 miles north of you in a wet and soggy Nottinghamshire. MJ

Merry Christmas to the UK, I have a niece married this last year living in London. I have a fordson 2000 my father drove in the driveway new in 61 and bought a fordson major 9 years or so ago. I should look at their numbers some day, in the mean time they start and run. We are well in Canada.

Best Wishes to you and yours. I have relations who moved into the Ontario area in the 1870's when there was a great exodus from this part of the country due to lack of work. My lot scattered world wide, some ending up in Australia and are now very successful farmers there.

Your 2000 was really a Dexta, The Super Dexta did not come out until 1962, only real difference would be engine bore size and a few more horses.

If you come across any petrol 2000s or Dextas please let me know the engine numbers and serial numbers. I have been collecting data for many years trying to find out how many are left as there were only 4000 built and none were sold here in England.

Brian.
