Using a running clutch for a snowblower

Hi everyone. This is my first question. Thanks. My 60's Fordson Diesel Super Major will be used for snow and I am not sure if the running clutch should go on the side of the blower or the pto. The clutch is a Weasler type and states to be used on the implement but only fits on the tractor side . Any thoughts .Thanks

Not sure what you are referring to. An overrunning clutch is needed on implements with a lot of rotational inertia such as rotary mowers and balers (with the flywheel) . Never needed an overrunning clutch on my snow blower. When an overrunning clutch is used, it is normally placed directly on the tractor PTO shaft.
