Fordson N Question

I found a Fordson N for sale near me and I noticed it had a tank looking piece under the fuel tank between the dash and engine. Just wondering what it might be.

That would be the air filter/cleaner. 1937 and older had the intake in the steering column. Later ones had a vertical pipe leading to the air cleaner. The earlier ones
used water. Need to be drained and refilled frequently. Can't be left to freeze.
The later air cleaner used an oil bath. Also, in late 1937, the tractor color changed to orange.
