Does this Fordson look correct?

Does this Fordson look correct? I'm considering it as a display piece but would like it to actually be a Fordson and not a collection of other tractors and parts. Also, can the front wheels be brought closer together? They look kind of funny. Looks like it needs a steering wheel as well. Thanks for any help.

Yes it's the real thing. Mid 20's probably.

It has what I'll say is a hilling attachment.
Up here, it would be used in potato fields, but
down there, most likely in tobacco fields. I would think you could trade that stuff for the common front axle. I can't make out what happened to the steering gear, nor water washer air-cleaner. The seat is off some horse machine,
and is probably collectable. Ford used a stamped tin seat which should be readily available.

That is a 1920s Fordson F tractor fitted with an Athens mid mounted disc plow. A friend of mine has an outfit just like that and I have seen it working. MJ

Thank you for the replies. Not loving the front axle as it might cause problems loading it onto a standard trailer. Looks very wide and I am not close to the tractor so I can't inspect it personally.

Thanks for the pics. Looks like the one in New Mexico is ready to go, nice looking tractor. Any idea what's going on with the steel band just under right side of the rear axle? Something for a planter/Seeder? My best guess. Had to pass on the one in Alabama, couldn't overcome the logistics of getting it back to Maryland. Didn't want to get it hauled, would've preferred to pick it up myself. Be nice to know what it sold for, though.

Thanks, how do I get to that part of the site? Probably staring me in the face but I'm not seeing it .
