Just a heads up should anyone be replacing liner O rings in an "S" industrial 220 Fordson engine. In my case I own a 1956 Fordson Major Diesel . Original Engine had been replaced with an "S" engine. My engine serial number is S443024. I believe I,m correct in saying it was built in early 1965, according to on-line research. Anyhow , present "S" engine required new liner O ring seals to correct small anti freeze leak into oil. I bought new lower liner O rings and attempted to install. They were part number E1ADKN-6061-A O rings with dimensions of outer diameter of 116.31 MM & inside diameter of 106.88 MM. Long story short I damaged 2 of these O rings when installing liners. Contacted my parts source guys again and learned the "S" engines are listed in their catalogues sharing Super Major O ring part numbers. 116534-ES-A . Those O ring dimensions are different, being outer diameter of 118.58 MM & inner diameter of 110.03 MM. Hopefully this info may help someone in future. Brian B.
