I just bought a ford 5000 super major We have had fords on this farm all my life NAA to a TW 30 this is the first Fordson I want to put a regular remote valve on it instead of the diverter valve it has now I compared the bolt pattern to my 2810 and the bolt pattern is the same

The bolt pattern may be the same but the porting is different. You will find that if you use the later valve you will be unable to use the lift arms. Seem to remember that an adaptor plate was available to fit between the top cover and the new valve but not sure.

The proper spool valve has a lot in common with rocking horse manure! ;0)
