Fordson F transmission noise

Recently got my 1926 F running and driving. Along side from the clutch wanting the stick, all is good, except for in second gear the transmission makes a noise and vibration. It feels as if a gear other than 2nd to catching a little bit, just enough to make a noise and a minor vibration, but i am not sure. Should I be concerned about this? what could be the cause? and Should I bother to fix it considering how much use the tractor will get? Any input would the great. Thank you.

These gearboxes have a rather cleverly designed constant mesh gear set-up. If there is bad noise,
it could be a broken bearing, or a gear that is not quite disengaged from the internal tooth coupling
which is only going to grind away metal you don't want to lose. You could take off a side cover and
inspect it.
