Power major needs to be narrowed

I have a power major and i need to haul it. My trailer is a between the wheels equipment trailer.
The rear wheels shouldn't be a problem their dry and no fluid.
How do you do the front end? I know there are 3 bolts on each side of the front axle to remove and install in different holes. What about the steering linkage? How do you support the tractor so the axle can be adjusted?
Any tips or suggestions are greatly appreciated thanks

When I haul a Tractor that has to wide a front axel to fit between the fenders on my Trailer.......I place wood blocking next to the inside fenders, Tractor is either Towed or driven up onto the blocks and then down onto the Trailer. I reverse the unloading .

Take the three bolts out, one side at a time, with the tractor jacked up. Reposition them and refit the short axle. Remove the clamp bolt on the track rod, push the sliding piece in and refit the clamp bolt in a new notch when the wheel is straight. Repeat on the other side.

No tracking to line up, it is one of the simplest jobs on that tractor.

How narrow can you get a power major to go?
I got it narrowed around 6ft yesterday. Is that as narrow as it can go?
It started out around 7ft wide. Now it's around 6ft, it should fit my tailer now my trailer is 6ft 10in
