Interesting Fordson roller at auction

At the Wolgemuth consignment auction (Leola PA) this Saturday (11-25-2017. A model "F" converted into a roller. Must have had a right angle gear system to make the engine crank work (one bevel gear is visible). A magneto has been added -- maybe a home-made conversion. Will try to attach some pictures. Looks fairly complete. Can't tell if it has just been used as a yard ornament.

Did you attend? if so what was the sale price?

I did not attend but was watching it live on the computer and it went for either $3000 or $4000. Far more than I thought it might bring.

Lester backenstoes had a couple of fordson rollers. Last time I talk to him a few months ago he said he was thinking about selling one. He's in that area. If it was his it would have been running.
