Super Dexta 3 Point Height

Does the 3 pt hitch on a dexta run lower overall than other tractors. My lift arms are maybe 3 or 4" off the ground at the lower limit. The problem is they don't go high enough to get a "normal" implement off the ground.

I've tried a ford 2 bottom plow and it barely gets it high enough to clear unlplowed ground. Also tried a "new" brush hog today and it gets high enough to cut, but won't get it off the ground. It seem to have a decent range and no issues raising up, it just doesn't go high enough.

I used to have mower that I put a set of pins lower down so I could use it on the dexta, but the dexta hasn't been on brush hog duty since I got a Massey Ferguson with power steering. Actually, the mower I've been using on Massey has had the pins swapped with a couple lower bolts, so maybe it's not an isolated issue or the previous owner had a dexta also?

From what I can see in the it manual, the rockshaft is keyed so it's not like the lift arms are just out of time. Is there that much adjustment inside on the linkage somewhere or is this just the nature of the Dexta?

I have several Dexta tractors. One I had, would not go as high as others. Otherwise, the lift was strong and fast. The bottom line is the adjustment linkage was worn.
