Fordson Major Rowcrop

Looking for information on a Fordson Major Rowcrop, as I recently found/purchased one. From the serial number, looks like it's a 1957, which I guess makes it a "New Major" (I'm not a Fordson guy). I've read some older responses from other forums, but I was just wanting to see if anyone else had any other information about them. I'm mainly wanting to know how rare they are. I never even knew that a Rowcrop model existed until I found this one.

Thanks in advance for any input!

If it looks like this one it is a conversion made by Roadless Traction of Hounslow Middlesex, or it could be a version made by Bettinsons of Holbeach, Lincolnshire.

Pretty rare but it does not reflect in the price.

Gibbard's book mentions that a batch of 50 were made for 1956. 49 were shipped to the US.
Later on, another batch of kits was shipped for conversion. They seem to have been structurally
weak. I had one with a replacement wide front axle.

They used 38 inch rear wheels, and the drag link was different from standard.
If your's has a brace between the front pedestal and the pivot point on the
engine oil pan, I'd like to see photos. Mine is missing.

The supposed market was for mounted corn pickers.
