Ford 601 Workmaster, parking brake parts?

I am refurbishing a Ford 601 Workmaster tractor. The "parking brake" hardware (the mechanisms that lock the left & right brakes on, individually on this model) is all missing. My usual suplier, who has been pretty helpful so far, has told me these parts are not available. Where might I find these parts? If I had a pattern, I could fabricate the parts myself.

Thanks for your help!

PS: I see very few referrences to the 601 on this "Yesterday's Tractors" web site. Do people lump them together with the 600, or have I got an "Edsel" that no one else would admit to having?

I have a 601 workmaster and know of others that have one. I love mine. I have always referred to mine as a 601 and not a 600 as I believe thay are very different. Good luck with yours.

Robert, Try Andersons @ 419-358-1838 This is a sort of tractor salvage yard I think...never been there but they have been good about hard to find parts for me and my 600 series Ford. (661)

Today's Featured Article - Restoration Story: 1964 JD 2010 Dsl - Part 2 - by Jim Nielsen. Despite having to disassemble the majority of my John Deere 2010's diesel engine, I was still hopeful I could leave the engine-complete with crankshaft and camshaft-in the tractor. This would make the whole engine rebuild job much easier-and much less expensive! I soon found however, that the #4 conrod bearing had disintegrated, taking with it chunks of the crankshaft journal.
