My 1981 Ford 3600

Here's a pic of my 3600.

I bought it to mow 18 acres ( still need the mower ). It appears to be fully functional and in good condition with the exception of wiring. It has a new after market gauge panel with an operational tach / hour meter but that's about it.

The starter has been converted to a push button and the ignition switch is three positions to the right vs the stock five position switch.

My hope is to get everything wired back up as soon as the weather warms up some.

Nice looking Ford. Hey, do you have any close ups of the front grill guard? I need to find/make something for our 4000SU, and I
have been looking for ideas.

You will love that tractor, I have a Ford 2310, just a little smaller than yours, sips fuel and works hard all day. You can buy a complete harness
on this site.

I don't have any but can get something for you if needed. If you look at any Ford 2-4000 for sale, you'll likely find some good pictures. It's a simple L Bracket to the front arms. Simple but effective. I'd also bet you can find one at a scrap yard as they built a ton of these machines all over the world.

Thanks. I believe I have the wiring in place, I just need to figure out how to hook up everything and get the power and grounds right. Then, are the senders good? Fun, fun.

Not my strong suit but it looks like I'll need to upgrade my knowledge base.

Very nice Larry.
As said, those are great small tractors.
Very reliable.
I have a 'stealth' 3600.
It wears the tin of an early 3000 but the
chassis is much newer.

ebay has new gauge assembly for less than a hundred bucks. Only takes power, fuel, alternator, and preheat wires. Add alternator
cable to that...ground is the mounting screws. If yours is weather beaten, putting a new one on that restored beauty would make it
like a new one.
